Configure email notifications and set up SMTP/POP3 for document signing emails

SMTP Configuration (Email Sending)

Configure SMTP to send notifications when documents are sent, signed, or need reminders.

Quick Setup - Select Provider

SMTP Settings

SMTP Host *

e.g., smtp.gmail.com, smtp.office365.com, smtp.sendgrid.net

SMTP Port *

Usually 25, 465 (SSL), or 587 (TLS)

SMTP Username *

Email address or username for authentication

SMTP Password *

App-specific password (not your regular password)

From Email Address *

Email address shown as sender in notifications

From Display Name

Name displayed to recipients

Use TLS Encryption

Optionally configure POP3 to retrieve and archive emails for backup purposes.

ℹ️ Note: POP3 is optional. You only need this if you want to automatically retrieve and store copies of emails sent by Initial and Sign.
